Anna Kolbach

After initially working towards my BFA in painting and ceramics, I spent twelve entertaining years in the coffee industry as a barista and general manager before deciding to use my skillset in another field of interest. As a lover of books, lifelong learner, artist, and Girl Scouts troop leader, joining the Youth Services team and being able to make connections with and make a difference in my community is ideal. Personally, I love realistic fiction, fantasy, and nonfiction reads, and absolutely adore the artistry and succinct yet vivid storytelling in picture books. At CPL, you'll find me working on Tinker Lab S.T.E.A.M. activities, creating media, and sticking my nose in books. Outside the library, I'm either painting, hanging with my kids, getting involved in volunteerism, or camping.
